Problem Solver, Teacher, Mentor, and Visionary...
Gail started her career as a staff accountant auditing the City of Lawton, Oklahoma.
She often recounts her experience of hunkering down in a basement full of ledgers and binders-working through the night to decode and understand the complicated nature of governmental entities.
Decades later, her mechanical aptitude and tenacity paid off when she was inspired by CaseWare's software solutions to co-develop a GASB Template. Together, with her son (who is following in her footsteps) and our Partners at CaseWare, Gail pioneered the usage of audit-type engagement properties and software functionality to implement Report Automation Processes for Large Entities who need to generate reports on a variety of reporting standard bases.
Gail has more than 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting, taxation, and business consulting. She is certified by the Colorado and California State Board of Accountancy. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accounts and the Governmental Finance Officers Association (GFOA). She has been a CaseWare Certified Trainer for 14 years. She is an Army Veteran, a business owner, a mother, a wife, and a Grandmother.
“Gail was a great asset to us. She built the financial statement templates and worked with us to perform the groupings and mappings of our general ledger accounts. Gail really went above and beyond to make the implementation a success. We could not have done it without her.”
