Record Retention Policy
We guarantee to retain the following records for five years in accordance with NASBA No. S24-01,03:
Records of Participation
Dates and Locations of Program Offerings
Author/ Instructor/ Developer/ Reviewer Credentials including(but not limited to): the State of Licensure, License Number, Status of License. (most of this information can be found on our website at all times)
Number of CPE Credits earned by participants
Results of Program Evaluations
Program Descriptive Materials (Course Announcement Information)
Program Outline, agenda or speaker notes that show the element of engagement related to course content during each credit of CPE planned for the group-live program
By default, refunds will be offered as a credit for future training or services by Gray CPA Consulting. In the event of extenuating circumstances, this may be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. In the case of non-credit refunds, Gray CPA Consulting will make the best effort to refund in the original payment method but will default to any method necessary to enact the refund in a timely manner.
Gray CPA Consulting reserves the right the cancel a training within 5 days of start date for any reason. Participants will be notified using the email address provided during registration. An attempt will be made to contact registrants via phone as well in the case of a custom-scheduled training.
Cancellation due to lack of registration
Gray CPA Consulting Reserves the right to cancel training within 5 days of the start date due to a lack of registrations for the course. Registrants will receive a refund upon cancellation as well as a notification.
Cancellation due to Extenuating Circumstances on Behalf of Trainer
In the event Gray CPA Consulting must cancel training after the 5-day window due to trainer circumstances, all registrants will receive a full refund and will be contacted in a best-effort attempt to reschedule another similar training at a convenient time.
Cancellation Due to Extenuating Circumstances on Behalf of Attendee
An attendee may cancel their registration within 10 days of training and receive a full credit refund towards future training or services from Gray CPA Consulting. Any cancellation after that window will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Any cancellation on the day of training due to technical difficulties that were due to lack of preparation on the registrant’s part is not eligible for refund except for on a case-by-case evaluation by the trainer.
If at any time, the trainer suspects that a web-based registration is being used to train more individuals than are paid and registered for the training, the trainer will notify the offending party and may revoke CPE earned unless the difference (to be determined on a case-by-case basis) in cost is paid.

All other cancellations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Course Update Policy
All courses are developed and updated by subject-level experts. In accordance with NASBA Standard No. 4, CPE program sponsors will use activities, materials, and delivery systems that are current, technically accurate, and effectively designed. Course documentation will contain the most recent publication, revision or review date. Courses will be revised as soon as feasible following changes to relative codes, laws, rulings, decisions, interpretations, etc. Courses will be reviewed by an individual with subject matter expertise at least once a year to verify the technical accuracy of the content.
Software Update Review and Revisions
It is our policy to perform updates to training materials and course communications regarding what our software subject experts determine to be blocker-status changes in the software annual releases of updates. This may include updated best practices, screenshots, and practice sets. Our subject-matter experts for this component include those with software-specific certifications and programming knowledge. In addition, they are currently implementing, supporting, and customizing solutions for users in the same line of work as course attendees.
Reporting Standards Update Review and Revisions
Upon major reporting standard changes, our subject matter experts may provide materials updates to focus on changing best practices and requirements. This update will occur at least every 2 years. Example reporting standards to be considered may include (but not be limited to): GASB, GAAP, GAGAS, ASBO, GFOA, IFRS. Our Subject matter experts for this component are CPAs or CPA candidates with extensive experience with implementing these reporting standards for ongoing clients and industry programs.
