This Program is meant for Personnel responsible for managing and maintaining their entity's CaseWare Solutions. Participants will gain an understanding of new scripting options that could optimize their reporting workflow. We will cover use cases, options in development, and custom scripting options.
This Program is designed to provide owners of CaseWare's Financials Template solution with the knowledge necessary to make decisions on custom scripting options. After completing this program, attendees should have a proficient understanding of the following:
An overview of scripting and what that means within the CaseWare Environment
The meaning of CaseWare "SDK Programming"
Current Scripting Options available
How to determine if you have a piece of workflow that can be automated with custom scripting
How contracting for a custom scripting project will work
How similar entities are currently using custom tools

1.5 CPE Hours in Specialized Knowledge-Technical...
...in accordance with NASBA 50-minute hours in order to accommodate mandatory breaks during the training session. In order to receive CPE, individual attendees must meet certain attendance and participation requirements.
For optimum success in any of our programs, we recommend basic computer literacy as defined by the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) or equivalent proficiency. Registrants will be expected to have these skills and if they do not experience success during the course delivery due to a lack in this knowledge area, the attendee risks losing refund and course completion eligibility. Additional proficiency should include:
Microsoft Excel (familiar with data entry, formulas, common file types, etc)
Microsoft Word (familiar with word processing, common file types, and style Sheets)
Basic Accountancy/ Bookkeeping
