This Program is meant for Personnel responsible for creating their clients’ or entities’ annual financial statements. Participants will gain a Fundamental Understanding of how to use CaseView's features. CaseView is a revolutionary tool that takes any type of document or working paper, including client-ready financial statements, to top-notch publishing quality.


CaseView incorporates real-time linkages to any account properties and amounts in Working Papers. Adjust a journal entry and it immediately updates any corresponding linked amounts and totals. CaseView documents also include portions of text, be it a materiality guideline form, audit procedures, and questionnaires, client representation letter, or a comprehensive financial statement. CaseView's "smart technology" supports full object-oriented decision logic to automate formatting, rounding, diagnostics, account amounts, text, account balances, information from another CaseView document, and even financial statement notes.

Learning Objectives:

This program is designed to provide users of the CaseView solution the knowledge necessary to create and use the financials solution in their files to achieve their client`s reporting objectives. When the course is complete the user should be able to:

  • Navigate in CaseView’s Form and Design Modes comfortably

  • Creating styles for formatting purposes

  • Apply formatting to paragraphs using styles

  • Apply paragraph tags and section labels for reference points and bookmarks

  • Insert and update a Knowledge Library Link in a CaseView document

  • Create and apply appropriate properties for Numeric, Alphanumeric, and Date cells

  • Create tables and format table properties

  • Link data into cells using a variety of calculations and tools such as the calculation editor, calculation toolbar, and linkage tool.Set up and apply rounding relations with logical control over the plug cell

  • Create and attach Headers and Footers to the document

  • Apply page numbers and use page number cross-referencing to create a table of contents

  • Apply note numbers and note number cross-referencing to refer to the notes were required

  • Create and apply cell groups and group tabs stop

  • Use common word processing features such as find and replace, spell checker, and insert bullets, pictures, and objects, and line styles.

...in accordance with NASBA 50-minute hours in order to accommodate mandatory breaks during the training session. In order to receive CPE, individual attendees must meet certain attendance and participation requirements.

How do I get my CPE?



Recommended Prerequisites:

For optimum success in any of our programs, we recommend basic computer literacy as defined by the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) or equivalent proficiency. Registrants will be expected to have these skills and if they do not experience success during the course delivery due to a lack in this knowledge area, the attendee risks losing refund and course completion eligibility. Additional proficiency should include:

  • Microsoft Excel (familiar with data entry, formulas, common file types, etc)

  • Microsoft Word (familiar with word processing, common file types, and style Sheets)

  • Basic Accountancy/ Bookkeeping

  • for best learning - Governmental and True Fund Accounting

  • Internet browsers such as Chrome and Internet Explorer

  • Basic Digital Document Management Principles
